The Monaco Redefines Main Beach Living

Main Beach will soon be home to an opulent new tower, with McNab Construction appointed to build The Monaco, Gold Coast – a 24 level project with only 25 half and full floor residences, adjacent to The Southport Marina.


The Monaco is being developed by Ignite Projects, with managing director Josh Foote saying the project will offer a lifestyle like no other, with an unmatched location, unique design and word class amenities.


“The enquiries we are receiving are predominately from locals who live in and around Main Beach and want to downsize or upgrade to a brand new apartment,” he said.


“Over the next two years there’s only three active projects in the pipeline in Main Beach that are due for completion, so it is an undersupplied market considering the level of demand we are seeing.


“Main Beach already has the Gold Coast’s highest median property value with an average $1.437 million price tag, and this is only to expected to increase as Main Beach transforms in to a world class destination, led by the redevelopment of The Spit.”



MAIN BEACH ON THE MOVE

NPA Projects director Andrew Erwin, who is marketing The Monaco, says Main Beach is undergoing a renaissance, led by the $205 million masterplan for The Spit, which is the Gold Coast’s most significant coastal redevelopment and has the potential to create 1,800 jobs.

The State Government has recently committed to commencing a $23 million upgrade which will include new boat ramps, pontoons and a jetty, adding to work already underway on a new Seaway Promenade, boasting views of the Gold Coast and South Stradbroke Island.


“People are really starting to understand the vision for The Spit and how it will redefine Main Beach,” he said.


“The Spit will be the Gold Coast’s answer to London’s Hyde Park, with about the same amount of space – 140 hectares – dedicated to parklands and green space, alongside an array of new dining, retail and entertainment precincts.


“It will be eight times the size of Brisbane’s South Bank, and work has already started on a new Seaway Promenade, with pedestrian links through to Main Beach.


“At the same time, plans are in the pipeline to create a new $2 million superyacht berth at the Southport Marina, which is adjacent to The Monaco, so Main Beach is back on the radar for high end boaties.


“Main Beach is in the spotlight and has become a hive of activity, with work already underway on $34 million worth of infrastructure upgrades, including the expansion of Sundale Bridge to five lanes, an upgraded intersection for Macarthur Parade to SeaWorld Drive and 1,700 metres of new footpath, all due for completion late next year.”


CUSTOM KITCHENS

Evoque Interior director Eulanda Ryan, who works directly with The Monaco purchasers to design the custom kitchens, says the trend towards entertaining friends and family at home means kitchen design is now more important than ever.
